Why you love English

I love playing with words, and it feels wonderful when something meaningful is created out of those words. My motivation comes from the joy I get in the process of writing.

That’s why I'm 100% committed to complete a project with accuracy that is given to me.

Influence of socialism in Nazrul’s poetry

We can find the trace of the influence of the Communist ideals in Nazrul’s poem “Samyabadi” which he wrote in 1925. The spread of communism from country to country in that time inspired him to write his poems on equality. Nazrul was a keen observer of the non-cooperation movement of Mahatma Gandhi in 1920-22 and the movement of self –Government by Deshabadhu Chittaranjan Das. This two movement also inspired him to write about equality for all both the common people and the ruler class. The message of the poem “Samyabadi” which is equality for all, is still relevant. One of the reasons of Nazrul’s relevancy in today’s society is his choice of substantial subjects as the topics of his poetry. Nazrul’s revolutionary mindset against British rule

The decade of the 1920s was historic and a decisive time period for Indian Subcontinent. The massacre of Jalawanbarg in 1919 moved the country and the protest against the British Raj became intense. Nazrul took part in that protest sincerely. In his poetry, Nazrul expressed his longing to free his motherland from the bondage of British ruler. In 1922 in his magazine Dhumketu, Nazrul proclaimed that, “ Dhumketu wants total freedom of Bharat.” Nazrul proved that his writings hold more power than the weapon of British ruler. The colonial power was scared of his writings. In order to shut down his voice, they banned five of his books and some other songs and articles. The books that were banned are ‘Jukbani”, “Bisher Bishi”, “Bhanger Gann”, “Proloy shika” and “Chandrabindu”. Then colonial power throw Nazrul into jail for publishing books but they failed to stop him. From jail, Nazrul wrote,
